Yes I made a Christmas Gift for my MIL's dog.There was some debate among the family about dogs needing to be kept warm. I believe domestic house dogs don't grow a winter coat and can use a little extra warmth.
Necessary or not it is cute.

I didn't know house pups didn't get their winter coat.
BUT
I did know that it takes horses three days to grow their winter coat durning which time they burn extra calories or stored fat to do it.
